**Colin Weakens to a Tropical Depression**

- About 10 miles north of Wilmington NC

- Storm Intensity 35 mph
- Movement Northeast or 55 degrees at 7 mph
SITUATION OVERVIEW

Tropical Depression Colin has continued to weaken and is no longer
capable of producing tropical storm force winds. Showers have
decreased significantly as what is left of the system drifts eastward
across southeast NC overnight and into Sunday. Despite the system
weakening, hazardous marine conditions will continue. Rough surf
and rip currents are likely to continue along the NC coast through
Sunday morning.

North Carolina.
