SITUATION OVERVIEW

Tropical Storm Elsa will continue to track northeast away from
southeast Georgia tonight as rainfall decreases in coverage across the
local area. Many local rivers are either in or will rise into flood
stage over the next couple of days.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* FLOODING RAIN:
Local rivers will continue to rise over the next week with several
rising into minor to moderate flood. Additional locally heavy
rainfall from scattered showers and thunderstorms through the
weekend could cause localized flood issues due to saturated
grounds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
----------------------------------

* EVACUATIONS:

RECOVERY PHASE - Do not enter evacuated areas until officials have
given the all clear to return.

*
Do not attempt to return to evacuated areas until local authorities
have inspected roads and bridges and have given the all clear.
Hazards like downed power lines and trees, washed out roads,
continued flooding in low lying areas and non-functioning traffic
lights make travel difficult.

Be alert for potential flooding from rising rivers and streams which
may have yet to crest. Remain informed of the latest river forecasts
and heed any flood watches and warnings.
