**CENTER OF ETA MOVING OVER NORTHEASTERN FLORIDA**

NEW INFORMATION
---------------

* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - The Tropical Storm Warning has been cancelled for Baker,
      Bradford, Central Marion, Clay, Eastern Alachua, Eastern
      Marion, Gilchrist, Inland Duval, Inland Flagler, Inland Nassau,
      Inland St. Johns, Putnam, Southern Columbia, Union, Western
      Alachua, and Western Marion

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Coastal Camden,
      Coastal Duval, Coastal Flagler, Coastal Nassau, and Coastal St.
      Johns

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 30 miles west-southwest of Jacksonville FL or about 70
      miles south-southwest of Brunswick GA
    - 30.2N 81.8W
    - Storm Intensity 45 mph
    - Movement North-northeast or 30 degrees at 15 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Tropical Storm Eta was west southwest of Jacksonville late this
morning. Eta will move off the coast early this afternoon. Light to
moderate showers and wind gusts up to tropical storm force will remain
possible along the coastal areas into the early afternoon hours.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* WIND:
Potential impacts from the main wind event are now unfolding across
coastal northeast Florida and portions of coastal southeast Georgia.
Remain well sheltered from hazardous wind having possible limited
impacts. If realized, these impacts include:
    - Damage to porches, awnings, carports, sheds, and unanchored
      mobile homes. Unsecured lightweight objects blown about.
    - Many large tree limbs broken off. A few trees snapped or
      uprooted, but with greater numbers in places where trees are
      shallow rooted. Some fences and roadway signs blown over.
    - A few roads impassable from debris, particularly within urban
      or heavily wooded places. Hazardous driving conditions on
      bridges and other elevated roadways.
    - Scattered power and communications outages.

Elsewhere across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, little to
no impact is anticipated.

* SURGE:
Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across Northeast
Florida and Southeast Georgia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
----------------------------------

* EVACUATIONS:

Do not enter evacuated areas until officials have given the all clear
to return.

* OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION:
Now is the time to stay inside and away from windows. Listen for
updates and be ready in case you lose electrical power. Keep a battery-
powered radio, charged cell phone and flashlight handy.
