    - None

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Barnstable MA, Dukes
      MA, and Nantucket MA

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 570 miles southwest of Nantucket MA
    - 34.6N 76.2W
    - Storm Intensity 90 mph
    - Movement Northeast or 50 degrees at 14 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Hurricane Dorian is forecast to pass about 120 miles southeast of
Nantucket Saturday morning as it moves quickly northeastward and well
offshore by late Saturday afternoon. Strong winds, heavy rainfall and
high surf will be the main impacts, with the strongest wind and
heaviest rain occurring late Friday night through Saturday morning,
especially over Nantucket. A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect
for Cape Cod, Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket.

Wind gusts will peak at 40 to 60 mph late Friday night and Saturday
morning over the Cape and Islands as winds turn from northeast to
north. Winds will diminish Saturday afternoon. Total rainfall of 2 to
4 inches is possible with minor urban poor drainage flooding. A storm
surge up to 2 feet is possible during the Saturday morning high tide
which may bring minor coastal flooding to Nantucket Harbor.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* WIND:
Protect against hazardous wind having possible limited impacts across
the Cape and Islands. Potential impacts in this area include:
    - Downed trees and power lines.
    - A few roads impassable from debris, particularly within urban
      or heavily wooded places. Hazardous driving conditions on
      bridges and other elevated roadways.
    - Scattered power and communications outages

Also, protect against hazardous wind having possible limited impacts
across southeast Massachusetts, especially near the coast.

* SURGE:
Minor coastal flooding is possible along Nantucket Harbor during the
high tide Saturday morning.

* FLOODING RAIN:
Protect against locally hazardous rainfall flooding having possible
limited impacts across the Cape and Islands. Potential impacts
include:
    - Flood waters can enter a few structures, especially in usually
      vulnerable spots. A few places where rapid ponding of water
      occurs at underpasses, low-lying spots, and poor drainage areas.
      Several storm drains and retention ponds become near-full and
      begin to overflow. Some brief road and bridge closures.

Elsewhere across Southern New England, little to no impact is
anticipated.
