This local statement provides information and recommended actions
for people in Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan.

.Watches/Warnings...
a Typhoon watch continues for The following locations, Rota,
Tinian, and Saipan.

a Tropical storm watch continues for The following locations,
Guam.

.STORM INFORMATION...
At 2 AM ChST...the center of Tropical Storm Bualoi (22W) was
located near LATITUDE 11.2N...LONGITUDE 153.1E. This was About
600 miles east-southeast OF Guam. Storm Motion was
west-northwest. Storm Intensity was 50 mph.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
Tropical Storm and Typhoon Watches remain in effect. Tropical
Storm Bualoi is moving towards the Marianas and is expected to
become a typhoon by Monday.

Continue preparations for the possibility of damaging winds, which
are possible Monday afternoon or evening. Make sure you have enough
food, water, and needed medical supplies. Fill your vehicles with
fuel. Ensure your generator is in good working order, and have extra
supplies of fuel for its operation. Clear your property and drains
of any debris. Have a portable radio ready for receiving storm
information.

...Winds...
AS Tropical Storm Bualoi (22W) moves closer, the threat for
sustained high winds is likely to increase. The latest forecast
is for Winds to remain below tropical storm force. If the track of
Bualoi changes than damaging winds of 39 mph or greater may be
possible as early as Monday afternoon.

...Storm surge...
Coastal inundation of 1 to 2 feet is possible as 22W passes Monday
afternoon through Tuesday.

...Other storm effects...
>From 1 to 3 inches of rain is possible as Tropical Storm Bualoi
passes.
