For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
A non-tropical low pressure system is expected to develop over the
North Atlantic between Bermuda and the Azores in a couple of days.
Gradual development of this system is possible thereafter, and a
tropical or subtropical depression could form by the middle of the
week while the low moves generally westward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent.
Another non-tropical low pressure system is forecast to develop over
the western North Atlantic between Bermuda and the east coast of the
United States by the middle of the week. This low is expected to
move slowly northward to northeastward after it forms, and some
subtropical or tropical development is possible thereafter.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
