**Tropical Storm watch in effect for the Upper Keys**

* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Monroe Upper Keys

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 110 miles west of Key Largo FL
    - 24.8N 82.1W
    - Storm Intensity 40 mph
    - Movement North-northeast or 15 degrees at 24 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Tropical storm Philippe, located northwest of Key West, will continue
to accelerate to the northeast tonight. Southeast winds of 20 to 30
mph, with gusts of 40 to perhaps 50 mph, in the stronger showers and
thunderstorms are possible tonight. Occasional showers may become more
widespread. Additional rainfall amounts will average around one inch.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

* WIND:
Prepare for hazardous wind having possible limited impacts across
Florida Keys. Potential impacts include:
    - Isolated power and communications outages.

* FLOODING RAIN:
Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across Florida Keys.

* TORNADOES:
Prepare for a tornado event having possible limited impacts across
Florida Keys. Potential impacts include:
    - The occurrence of isolated tornadoes are possible.
