CAROLINA COAST TODAY AND TONIGHT...MAKING LANDFALL SUNDAY. ANA
WILL THEN MOVE NORTHWARD INTO EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA SUNDAY NIGHT
WHILE WEAKENING.
THE MAIN IMPACTS WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST OF
NORTHERN CHARLESTON COUNTY AND ACROSS ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.
DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS...MINOR BEACH EROSION...AND WIND GUSTS NEAR
TROPICAL STORM FORCE STRENGTH WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THIS
AREA...ESPECIALLY LATER TODAY AND EARLY SUNDAY. HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS FROM EDISTO
BEACH NORTHWARD AND MARINERS ARE URGED TO REMAIN IN PORT.

MINOR BEACH EROSION, ESPECIALLY ALONG EAST AND NORTHEAST FACING
BEACHES, AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE
CHARLESTON COUNTY COAST.
* WIND: PREPARE FOR HAZARDOUS WIND HAVING POSSIBLE LIMITED IMPACTS
ACROSS UPPER CHARLESTON AND FAR EASTERN BERKELEY COUNTIES. POTENTIAL
IMPACTS IN THIS AREA INCLUDE:
- DAMAGE TO PORCHES, AWNINGS, CARPORTS, SHEDS, AND UNSECURED
LIGHTWEIGHT OBJECTS.
- SOME TREE LIMBS AND FENCES BROKEN OFF.
- HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS ON BRIDGES AND OTHER ELEVATED ROADWAYS.

- LOCALIZED INUNDATION WITH STORM SURGE FLOODING MAINLY ALONG
IMMEDIATE SHORELINES AND IN LOW-LYING SPOTS.
- SECTIONS OF NEAR-SHORE ROADS AND PARKING LOTS MAY BECOME OVERSPREAD
WITH SURGE WATER. DRIVING CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS IN PLACES WHERE
SURGE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
- BEACH EROSION AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS.
