AT 9 PM EDT...THE CENTER OF HURRICANE ARTHUR WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 34.2N...LONGITUDE 77.1W. THIS WAS ABOUT 40 MILES EAST OF
WILMINGTON NC. STORM MOTION WAS NNE OR 30 DEGREES AT 15 MPH.
STORM INTENSITY WAS 100 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
THE CENTER OF HURRICANE ARTHUR HAS PASSED EAST OF CAPE FEAR AND IS
MOVING OFF TO THE NORTHEAST. IMPACTS WILL CONTINUE TO BE FELT
ACROSS THE WARNING AREA AS RAIN BANDS ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE STORM
CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE REGION. BRIEF PERIODS OF GUSTY WINDS AND
TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE INTO EARLY FRIDAY.
