THE TROPICAL STORM WARNING FOR THE OFFSHORE ATLANTIC WATERS HAS
BEEN DISCONTINUED WITHIN 20 NAUTICAL MILES OF THE COAST...AND
OVER THE OFFSHORE ATLANTIC SOUTH OF VOLUSIA COUNTY BEYOND 20
NAUTICAL MILES.

AT 3 PM EDT...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM ARTHUR WAS LOCATED
NEAR LATITUDE 29.6N...LONGITUDE 79.0W. THIS WAS ABOUT 120 MILES
EAST-NORTHEAST OF DAYTONA BEACH FL. ARTHUR WAS MOVING NORTH AT
AROUND 7 MPH. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS WERE 60 MPH.
.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
ARTHUR CONTINUES TO MOVE NORTH AWAY FROM THE EAST COAST OF
FLORIDA. A TROPICAL STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE
VOLUSIA COUNTY COASTAL WATERS BEYOND 20 NAUTICAL MILES. THE
WARNING WILL LIKELY BE DISCONTINUED LATER THIS EVENING.
SMALL CRAFT SHOULD NOT VENTURE WELL OFFSHORE VOLUSIA COUNTY
UNTIL WINDS AND SEAS SUBSIDE.
