MILES OFFSHORE.
ALTHOUGH TROPICAL CYCLONE WATCHES ARE NO LONGER IN EFFECT FOR

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM ARTHUR IS NOW OFFSHORE VOLUSIA COUNTY
AND IS MOVING NORTHWARD. THE CENTER WILL MOVE FARTHER AWAY FROM THE
EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA COAST TODAY AND TONIGHT.
RAIN BANDS WILL CONTINUE MOVING ONSHORE ALONG THE VOLUSIA AND
BREVARD COUNTY COASTS...BRINGING THE CHANCE FOR LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AROUND ONE INCH WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS
POSSIBLY REACHING 2 INCHES IN A FEW SPOTS. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND
LIGHTNING STORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS THE REMAINDER
OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA WITH SOME AREAS SEEING LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES. GUSTY WINDS TO 40 MPH WILL
OCCUR WITH SHOWERS...AND HIGHER GUSTS MAY OCCUR WITH ANY STRONG

GUSTS TO NEAR 30 MPH AT TIMES. OTHERWISE EXPECT BREEZY CONDITIONS
TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA COASTAL
AREAS TODAY.
