TROPICAL STORM ISAAC IS ABOUT 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ALEXANDRIA...AND
HE CONTINUES TO SLOWLY MOVE NORTHWEST AT 8 MPH AS HE SLOWLY WEAKENS.

FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT FRIDAY FOR JACKSON AND

LATITUDE 31.1 NORTH...LONGITUDE 91.8 WEST. THIS WAS ABOUT 90 MILES
EAST SOUTHEAST OF NATCHITOCHES LOUISIANA...OR ABOUT 100 MILES SOUTH OF
MONROE LOUISIANA. STORM MOTION WAS NORTHWEST OR 325 DEGREES AT 8 MPH.
STORM INTENSITY WAS 45 MPH.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS ARE BEING FELT GENERALLY SOUTH AND EAST
OF A LINE FROM NATCHITOCHES TO MONROE. THESE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO

AS TROPICAL STORM ISAAC APPROACHES...TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS
ARE EXPECTED IN AND AROUND RAIN BANDS. MAXIMUM WINDS ARE FORECAST
TO BE IN THE 35 TO 45 MPH RANGE WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH. MINOR TO
MODERATE DAMAGE IS LIKELY TO MANY MOBILE HOMES...ESPECIALLY THOSE
THAT HAVE CANOPIES...AWNINGS...OR CARPORTS. POORLY CONSTRUCTED
HOMES MAY SUSTAIN MINOR WALL DAMAGE AND PARTIAL ROOF REMOVAL.
OTHER HOMES MAY HAVE MINOR ROOF AND SIDING DAMAGE. SOME LOOSE
OUTDOOR ITEMS WILL BE TOSSED AROUND AND MAY CAUSE ADDITIONAL
DAMAGE. A FEW POWER LINES WILL BE KNOCKED DOWN RESULTING IN
SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES. SOME LARGE BRANCHES OF HEALTHY TREES
WILL BE SNAPPED. MOST NEWLY PLANTED TREES AND SHRUBS WILL BE
DAMAGED OR UPROOTED.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL AND
NORTHWEST LOUISIANA THROUGH 7 AM CDT FRIDAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF
2 TO 6 INCHES...WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS...ARE POSSIBLE
DURING THIS TIME. SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE...
DEPENDING ON THE INLAND TRACK OF ISAAC.
...TORNADOES...
ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE POSSIBLE TODAY. THE GREATEST THREAT FOR
TORNADOES WILL BE NORTH AND EAST OF THE CENTER OF CIRCULATION.
