ATLANTIC WATERS FROM SEBASTIAN INLET TO JUPITER INLET.

AT 8 PM EDT...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM ISAAC WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 24.1N...LONGITUDE 82.6W. THIS WAS ABOUT 310 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF ORLANDO FL...OR ABOUT 270 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF FORT PIERCE FL. STORM MOTION WAS WEST NORTHWEST OR
290 DEGREES AT 15 MPH. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 65 MPH WITH
HIGHER GUSTS. SOME STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 48
HOURS...AND ISAAC IS EXPECTED TO BECOME A HURRICANE IN A DAY OR
TWO OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO.
.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
TROPICAL STORM ISAAC WILL MOVE AWAY FROM THE FLORIDA KEYS THROUGH
LATE EVENING AND INTO THE SOUTHEAST GULF OF MEXICO LATE TONIGHT
INTO MONDAY. ALTHOUGH ISAAC HAS A LARGE WIND CIRCULATION THE
CENTER WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE FARTHER AWAY FROM EAST CENTRAL
FLORIDA TONIGHT WITH TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS CONFINED TO GUSTS
IN SQUALLS ACROSS THE TREASURE COAST AND OKEECHOBEE THROUGH LATE
EVENING.
WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 TO 40 MPH WILL MAINLY OCCUR WITH SQUALLS
ACROSS EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS WITH SOME
RAIN BANDS CONTINUING TO MOVE ONSHORE FROM THE ATLANTIC. THE
STRONGEST WIND GUSTS WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE TREASURE COAST.
THE THREAT FOR TORNADOES IS DIMINISHING BUT CANNOT BE RULED OUT
OVERNIGHT FOR MAINLY COASTAL SECTIONS SOUTH OF CAPE CANAVERAL.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF TWO TO FOUR INCHES ACROSS
OKEECHOBEE COUNTY AND THE TREASURE COAST AND ONE TO THREE INCHES
ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA WILL CAUSE LOCALIZED
PONDING OR WATER ON ROADWAYS AND POSSIBLE AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE
FLOODING INTO MONDAY.
THE STRONG ONSHORE FLOW AND SQUALLY WEATHER WILL LEAD TO ROUGH
SURF...BEACH EROSION AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE COAST
THROUGH AT LEAST MID WEEK.
