MONROE COUNTY.
FOR MARINE INTERESTS...A TROPICAL STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR
ALL OF FLORIDA KEYS COASTAL WATERS.
A TROPICAL STORM WARNING MEANS THAT TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED WITHIN THE NEXT 36 HOURS SOMEWHERE WITHIN THE SPECIFIED
AREAS.

AT 5 PM EDT...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM ISAAC WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 24.2N...LONGITUDE 82.3W. THIS WAS ABOUT 40 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF KEY WEST FL. STORM MOTION WAS WNW OR 295 DEGREES AT
16 MPH. STORM INTENSITY WAS 60 MPH.

A TROPICAL STORM WARNING HAS NOW BEEN ISSUED. TROPICAL STORM ISAAC
WILL CONTINUE TO SKIRT THE LOWER KEYS THIS EVENING...AND PUSH FURTHER
INTO THE SOUTHEAST GULF OF MEXICO OVERNIGHT. TROPICAL STORM
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE ACROSS THE FLORIDA KEYS AND
SURROUNDING WATERS THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING.

THE MONROE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ADVISES THE PUBLIC TO STAY OFF THE
ROADWAYS THIS EVENING. MANY MOTORISTS HAVE FOUND THEMSELVES STRANDED
AFTER DRIVING THROUGH WATER DEEPER THAN THEY REALIZED. DRIVING
THROUGH RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS THAT MIGHT BE INUNDATED WITH WATER
CAN CAUSE A WAKE THAT CAN WASH INTO YARDS AND HOMES. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL MAY CAUSE PERIODIC FLOODING OF ROADWAYS IN ALL OF THE
