THE CHANCE FOR TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS AT THIS TIME IS UP TO 45
PERCENT. THE ONSET OF TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS COULD START AS
EARLY AS SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
...INLAND FLOODING...
RAIN BANDS ASSOCIATED WITH TROPICAL STORM MARIA ARE EXPECTED TO
BEGIN AFFECTING EASTERN PUERTO RICO AND THE VIRGIN ISLANDS AROUND
DAYBREAK SATURDAY. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL
FOR RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF FOUR TO EIGHT INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS POSSIBLE IN FAVORED AREAS. MUDSLIDES AND DEBRIS FLOW ARE
ALSO POSSIBLE IN AREAS OF STEEP TERRAIN. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN
EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE AREA.

IN ADDITION TO ABOVE NORMAL TIDES...HIGH SURF...AND STRONG RIP
CURRENTS ARE EXPECTED. THE SURF ALONG THE SOUTH AND NORTH COASTS OF
