A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA
SOUTH MISSISSIPPI. PLEASE LISTEN CLOSELY FOR ANY TORNADO WARNINGS

AT 7 AM CDT...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM LEE WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 29.7N...LONGITUDE 92.0W. THIS WAS ABOUT 110 MILES WEST
OF NEW ORLEANS LA...OR ABOUT 80 MILES WEST OF HOUMA LA. STORM
MOTION WAS NE OR 45 DEGREES AT 3 MPH. STORM INTENSITY WAS 45 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
WHEN MAKING DECISIONS...DO NOT FOCUS ON THE EXACT FORECAST TRACK.
THIS IS A VERY BROAD STORM AND STRONG WINDS AND SQUALLS EXTEND
WELL AWAY FROM THE CENTER OF CIRCULATION. AT 7 AM CDT... BROKEN
CONVECTIVE BANDS CONTINUED TO MOVE ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AND
SOUTHWEST AND COASTAL MISSISSIPPI. SOME STORMS WITHIN THESE BANDS
WERE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP TORNADIC SIGNATURES AND ISOLATED
TORNADOES WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGHOUT THE DAY. STORM SURGES
WILL ALSO CONTINUE TO IMPACT COASTAL LOCATIONS TODAY.
