LATITUDE 17.4N...LONGITUDE 58.9W. THIS WAS ABOUT 480 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF SAN JUAN PR...OR ABOUT 400 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SAINT
THOMAS U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS. HURRICANE EARL IS PRESENTLY MOVING
TOWARDS THE WEST NORTHWEST NEAR 15 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
HURRICANE EARL CONTINUES HAS BEGUN TO SLOW AND TURN SLIGHTLY WEST
NORTHWESTWARD. BASED ON THE LATEST FORECAST TRACK...THERE IS A
SIGNIFICANT POSSIBILITY FOR TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS AND
POSSIBLE HURRICANE CONDITIONS ACROSS THE U.S. VIRGIN
ISLANDS...VIEQUES AND CULEBRA...AND PORTIONS OF MAINLAND PUERTO
RICO BEGINNING EARLY MONDAY MORNING. AS A RESULT...A TROPICAL
STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT.

ALTHOUGH THE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO TURN FURTHER NORTHWEST OVER THE
NEXT 24 HOURS OR SO...ANY DELAY IN THIS EXPECTED TURN WILL
