DELAWARE. COASTAL FLOOD WATCHES AND WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT FROM

AT 1000 PM EST...0300 UTC...THE CENTER OF REMNANTS OF IDA HAVE
MERGED WITH A STRONGER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM JUST OFF THE SOUTH
CAROLINA COAST AND WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 33.3 NORTH...AND
LONGITUDE 77.6 WEST...OR 60 MILES...95 KM...EAST-SOUTHEAST OF
MYRTLE BEACH SOUTH CAROLINA.
...THE REMNANTS OF IDA HAVE BEEN ABSORBED BY THE NEW LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM JUST OFF THE SOUTH CAROLINA COAST. THIS LOW WILL CONTINUE
TO INTENSIFY AND DRIFT SLOWLY NORTHWARD ALONG THE NORTH CAROLINA
COAST THROUGH THURSDAY...THEN TURN EAST ON FRIDAY AND HEAD INTO
THE ATLANTIC. STRONG WINDS OF 35 TO 45 MPH ARE COMMON ALONG THE
MID ATLANTIC COAST WITH GUSTS 55 TO 60 MPH. THE HIGHEST MEASURED
WINDS CONTINUE TO BE REPORTED AT THE CHESAPEAKE LIGHT WHERE WINDS
HAVE BEEN GUSTING TO 59 MPH WEDNESDAY EVENING...
...ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED OVER
