FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL PREDICTION CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON
THE EXTRATROPICAL REMNANTS OF IDA.  FURTHER INFORMATION ON THIS
SYSTEM CAN BE FOUND IN PUBLIC ADVISORIES ISSUED UNDER AWIPS HEADER
TCPAT1 AND WMO HEADER WTNT31 KWNH.

A NON-TROPICAL LOW PRESSURE AREA CENTERED ABOUT 400 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF BERMUDA IS PRODUCING WINDS TO NEAR GALE FORCE
BUT MINIMAL SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY.  UPPER-LEVEL WINDS
ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME UNFAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT
DAY OR SO AS THE SYSTEM MOVES NORTHWESTWARD AT 15 MPH. THERE IS A
LOW CHANCE...LESS THAN 30 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A
TROPICAL OR SUBTROPICAL CYCLONE. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS
SYSTEM CAN BE FOUND IN HIGH SEAS FORECASTS ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL
