.AT 2 PM EDT...THE EYE OF HURRICANE GUSTAV WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE
21.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 82.5 WEST...OR ABOUT 205 MILES SOUTH OF
KEY WEST.

GUSTAV IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 14 MPH...AND THIS MOTION
IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. ON THIS
TRACK...THE CENTER OF GUSTAV WILL BE NEAR WESTERN CUBA LATE TODAY AND
TONIGHT...AND THEN EMERGE OVER THE SOUTHERN GULF OF MEXICO EARLY ON
SUNDAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE INCREASED TO NEAR 145 MPH WITH HIGHER
