FLASH FLOOD WATCHES REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
GEORGIA...WESTERN NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA...AND EASTERN
TENNESSEE. FLOOD WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF
GEORGIA AND FLORIDA.
AT 1100 PM EDT...03Z...THE SURFACE LOW ASSOCIATED WITH FAY WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 35.0 NORTH...LONGITUDE 85.0 WEST...OR 10
MILES EAST OF CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE.
THE SURFACE LOW IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH...17 KM/HR. THE
REMNANTS OF FAY WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEASTWARD AND WEAKEN
ACROSS THE APPALACHIANS TONIGHT.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE 15 MPH. THE MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE
