FLASH FLOOD WATCHES ARE IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF
ALABAMA...MISSISSIPPI...EASTERN LOUISIANA...AND THE WESTERN
FLORIDA PANHANDLE.  FLOOD WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF
NORTHERN FLORIDA AND SOUTHERN GEORGIA.

AT 1000 AM CDT...18Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION FAY WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 32.3 NORTH...LONGITUDE 89.4 WEST...OR ABOUT
50 MILES..85 KM...EAST OF JACKSON MISSISSIPPI AND 165 MILES...265
KM...NORTH OF NEW ORLEANS LOUISIANA.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING NORTHWEST AT 3 MPH...5 KM/HR. THE
FORECAST TRACK INDICATES THAT THE CENTER OF FAY WILL BE CONTINUE
TO MOVE SLOWLY TO THE NORTH THEN NORTHEAST...AND INTO NORTHWEST
ALABAMA...SOUTHERN TENNESSEE ON TUESDAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 25 MPH..40 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS. GRADUAL WEAKENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS.  THE MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1003 MB...29.64 INCHES.

ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE POSSIBLE TODAY ACROSS MUCH OF
ALABAMA...WESTERN GEORGIA...AND THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE.
