LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 28.1 NORTH...LONGITUDE 90.3 WEST OR ABOUT
80 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF GRAND ISLE LOUISIANA.

EDOUARD IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 8 MPH. A TURN TO THE WEST-
NORTHWEST IS EXPECTED TODAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 50 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SOME
INCREASE IN STRENGTH IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. TROPICAL
STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 35 MILES FROM THE CENTER.

A STORM SURGE OF 2 TO 4 FT ABOVE NORMAL TIDE LEVELS CAN BE
