FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM FRANKLIN... LOCATED ABOUT 265 MILES WEST-NORTHWEST OF BERMUDA.
A LARGE TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 850 MILES EAST OF THE LESSER
ANTILLES IS CONTINUING TO PRODUCE CLOUDINESS AND SCATTERED SHOWERS.
THIS SYSTEM HAS BECOME A LITTLE BETTER ORGANIZED...AND SOME GRADUAL
DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT MOVES
WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH.
ANOTHER TROPICAL WAVE IS LOCATED ABOUT 600 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF
THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. WHILE SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS
LIMITED AT THIS TIME...CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR SOME SLOW
DEVELOPMENT OF THE SYSTEM TO OCCUR OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS IT
MOVES WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
ELSEWHERE... TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
THURSDAY.
