FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER HAS ISSUED THE LAST ADVISORY ON
TROPICAL DEPRESSION KATRINA...LOCATED INLAND OVER NORTHERN
TENNESSEE. FUTURE INFORMATION ON THIS SYSTEM CAN BE FOUND IN PUBLIC
ADVISORIES ISSUED BY THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL PREDICTION CENTER...
UNDER AWIPS HEADER TCPAT2 AND WMO HEADER WTNT32 KWNH.
SATELLITE IMAGES INDICATE THAT THE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED
ABOUT 1550 MILES EAST OF THE LESSER ANTILLES HAS CHANGED LITTLE IN
ORGANIZATION THIS MORNING. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS DO NOT APPEARS TO BE
FAVORABLE FOR A SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER...
THE ENVIRONMENT IS FORECAST TO BECOME MORE CONDUCIVE FOR A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION TO FORM DURING THE NEXT 24 TO 36 HOURS AS THE SYSTEM
MOVES TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST OVER THE OPEN ATLANTIC.
A COMPLEX AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER...WHICH INCLUDES THE REMNANTS OF
TROPICAL DEPRESSION THIRTEEN IS CENTERED SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES
SOUTHEAST OF BERMUDA. THIS SYSTEM REMAINS DISORGANIZED BUT WILL
CONTINUE TO BE MONITORED FOR SINGS OF DEVELOPMENT.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.
