FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM LISA...LOCATED ABOUT 1205 MILES WEST OF THE AZORES.
A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE INTERACTING WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW
IS PRODUCING WIDESPREAD CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS OVER THE CENTRAL
CARIBBEAN SEA. SOME SLOW DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE ONCE THE SYSTEM
REACHES THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA IN A COUPLE OF DAYS WHERE
UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE FAVORABLE.
CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL
WAVE ARE LOCATED ABOUT 500 MILES EAST OF THE WINDWARD ISLANDS.
UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE CURRENTLY UNFAVORABLE FOR ANY SIGNIFICANT
DEVELOPMENT TO OCCUR.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY.
