...STORM SURGE FLOOD AND STORM TIDE IMPACTS...
ASTRONOMICAL HIGH TIDES THIS EVENING COMBINED WITH STRONG EAST AND
SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD OF COASTAL FLOODING AND
BEACH EROSION ALONG THE GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA COASTS. TIDES ARE
STILL RUNNING ABOUT ONE TO TWO FEET ABOVE PREDICTED LEVELS...THUS
SHALLOW COASTAL FLOODING IS POSSIBLE AROUND TIME OF HIGH TIDE. HIGH

20 TO 30 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH. WINDS WILL BEGIN TO
DIMINISH TUESDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE TO DECREASE DURING THE DAY.

...SEAS AND RIP CURRENTS...
SEAS WILL CONTINUE TO BE ROUGH ACROSS THE GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA
COASTAL WATERS THIS EVENING. LARGE BREAKERS OF 5 TO 9 FEET CONTINUING
THROUGH TONIGHT ALONG THE BEACHES WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS SURF
CONDITIONS AND A HIGH RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS. SWIMMERS AND SURFERS ARE
ENCOURAGED TO REMAIN OUT OF THE WATER.
