A TROPICAL STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM NORTH OF COCOA BEACH
FLORIDA TO SAVANNAH GEORGIA...INCLUDING THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.
AN INLAND TROPICAL STORM WIND WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF INLAND
SOUTHEAST GEORGIA.
A FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND
SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA.
A RIVER FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE SAVANNAH RIVER
INCLUDING CLYO.

AT 8 PM EDT...TROPICAL STORM JEANNE WAS LOCATED AT 29.4 NORTH...82.7
WEST...OR ABOUT 10 MILES SOUTH OF BRONSON FLORIDA. THIS IS ALSO
ABOUT 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GAINESVILLE FLORIDA. THE TROPICAL
STORM IS MOVING NORTH-NORTHWEST AT 13 MPH AND A GRADUAL TURN TO THE
NORTH IS EXPECTED LATER TONIGHT OR EARLY MONDAY MORNING. MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 55 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. JEANNE WILL
CONTINUE TO DECREASE IN STRENGTH OVERNIGHT AND WILL LIKELY BECOME A
DEPRESSION ON MONDAY.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS. TIE DOWN OUTDOOR LOOSE OBJECTS SUCH AS
GRILLS...PATIO FURNITURE AND TRASH CANS. POWER OUTAGES ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE TONIGHT AND MONDAY. IF YOU PLAN ON USING A PORTABLE
GENERATOR...CHECK IT NOW FOR PROPER VENTILATION. CARBON MONOXIDE
POISONING DEATHS CAN OCCUR DUE TO IMPROPERLY VENTILATED GENERATORS.
...STORM SURGE FLOOD AND STORM TIDE IMPACTS...
ASTRONOMICAL HIGH TIDES MONDAY MORNING AND MONDAY EVENING COMBINED
WITH STRONG EAST AND SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD OF
COASTAL FLOODING AND BEACH EROSION ALONG THE GEORGIA COAST. TIDES
THIS EVENING ARE RUNNING SLIGHTLY ABOVE PREDICTED LEVELS.
AS WINDS INCREASE LATER TONIGHT AND MONDAY...WATER MAY APPROACH
HIGHWAY U.S. 80 NEAR FORT PULASKI DURING TIMES OF HIGH TIDE. HIGH
TIDES WILL OCCUR AT THE SAVANNAH RIVER ENTRANCE AT 741 AM MONDAY
MORNING AND THEN AGAIN AT 814 PM MONDAY EVENING.

WINDS ALONG COASTAL GEORGIA THIS EVENING ARE BETWEEN 20 AND
30 MPH WITH A FEW HIGHER GUSTS NEAR 40 MPH ALONG THE COAST.
SUSTAINED WINDS WILL INCREASE TONIGHT ALONG THE COAST...AVERAGING 30
TO 40 MPH ESPECIALLY IN RAIN BANDS. INLAND AREAS WILL SEE A GRADUAL
INCREASE IN SPEEDS OVERNIGHT. WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED
INLAND WITH GUSTS TO NEAR 40 MPH BY THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.
...SEAS AND RIP CURRENTS...
SEAS WILL CONTINUE TO BE ROUGH ACROSS THE GEORGIA COASTAL WATERS
THROUGH MONDAY. LARGE BREAKERS OF 5 TO 9 FEET CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG
THE BEACHES TONIGHT WHICH WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS SURF CONDITIONS
AND A HIGH RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS. SWIMMERS AND SURFERS ARE
ENCOURAGED TO REMAIN OUT OF THE WATER.
...FLOOD IMPACTS...
THE OUTER BANDS OF JEANNE WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT PORTIONS OF
SOUTHERNEASTERN GEORGIA AND SOUTHERN SOUTH CAROLINA THIS EVENING. THE
HEAVIEST RAINS WILL OCCUR LATER TONIGHT AND ON MONDAY AS CENTER OF
JEANNE MOVES INTO CENTRAL GEORGIA AND CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH MONDAY
MAINLY EAST OF INTERSTATE 95. 4 TO 8 INCHES IS POSSIBLE WEST OF
INTERSTATE 95. WITH THE POTENTIAL OF FLOODING TONIGHT AND
MONDAY...A FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT.

THE RISK FOR TORNADOES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE THROUGH MONDAY. A
TORNADO WATCH CURRENTLY IN AFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA
