COAST NORTH OF COCOA BEACH...
...AN INLAND TROPICAL STORM WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR
INTERIOR COUNTIES OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA...

...WATCHES AND WARNINGS...
A TROPICAL STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT ON THE ATLANTIC COAST
FROM NORTH OF COCOA BEACH TO THE SAVANNAH RIVER. AN INLAND TROPICAL
STORM WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR LAKE...SEMINOLE...ORANGE AND
OSCEOLA COUNTIES.

...STORM INFORMATION...
AT 530 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THE CIRCULATION
CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM JEANNE JUST WEST OF OCALA. JEANNE IS
MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST AROUND 12 MPH. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS
HAVE DECREASED TO AROUND 60 MPH...WITH HIGHER GUSTS.

...PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY IMPROVE DURING THE EVENING. PLEASE
STAY INDOORS UNTIL IT IS SAFE TO MOVE ABOUT. THIS WILL ALLOW
EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND RECOVERY OPERATIONS TO PRECEDE. MANY
POWERLINES ARE DOWN AND TREES AND DEBRIS ARE ON THE ROADWAYS. TRAFFIC
LIGHTS ARE OUT OR DOWN AND IT IS DANGEROUS TO TRAVEL. REMEMBER
TRAFFIC LIGHTS THAT ARE OUT OF ORDER BECOME FOUR WAY STOPS. OFTEN
NEEDLESS INJURIES OCCUR AFTER THE HURRICANE PASSES DUE TO A RUSH TO
GET OUTSIDE.

...WIND IMPACTS...
RAINBANDS WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH
WILL SPIRAL NORTHWARD ACROSS CENTRAL FLORIDA FORM ST. CLOUD AND
KISSIMMEE TO SANFORD...ORLANDO AND LEESBURG.  A LITTLE FARTHER TO
THE EAST SHOWERS WERE PRODUCING GUST TO 50 MPH IN THE COASTAL
COUNTIES FROM VERO BEACH TO DAYTONA. CONDITIONS WILL SLOWLY
IMPROVE DURING THE EVENING. COASTAL AND INLAND TROPICAL STORM
WARNINGS WILL LIKELY BE LOWERED DURING THE EARLY EVENING FOR EAST
CENTRAL FLORIDA...UNTIL THEN DONT LET YOUR GUARD DOWN.

...STORM SURGE FLOOD AND STORM TIDE IMPACTS...
STORM SURGE WATERS WILL CONTINUE TO SUBSIDE AS JEANNE MOVES
FARTHER NORTHWEST. HOWEVER...CONTINUED STRONG ONSHORE FLOW NORTH
OF THE CENTER TRACK...LARGE AND DANGEROUS BATTERING WAVES...AND
APPROACHING TIMES OF HIGH TIDE WILL SLOW THE RETREAT OF SURGE WATERS.

...FLOOD IMPACTS...
THE FLOOD THREAT ASSOCIATED WITH JEANNE HAS DIMINISHED. AS A
RESULT...AN AERIAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR INDIAN
RIVER...OSCEOLA...BREVARD...ORANGE...LAKE...SEMINOLE AND VOLUSIA
COUNTIES UNTIL 5 AM MONDAY MORNING. THIS IS MAINLY FOR OVERFLOWING
SMALL LAKES AND RETENTION PONDS... AND THE PONDING OF WATER THAT
COVERS MANY ROADS.

...TORNADO IMPACTS...
THE THREAT FOR TORNADOES HAS DIMINISHED IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA. THE
AFTERNOON TORNADO WATCH HAS EXPIRED.

THE NEXT HURRICANE LOCAL STATEMENT WILL BE ISSUED AROUND MIDNIGHT
...OR SOONER IF CONDITIONS WARRANT.
