ABACO ISLAND. THIS IS ALSO ABOUT 415 MILES...SOUTHEAST OF MAYPORT.
JEANNE IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 14 MPH AND THIS GENERAL MOTION
IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. ON THIS TRACK...THE
CORE OF JEANNE WILL BE MOVING ACROSS THE NORTHWESTERN BAHAMAS TODAY...
AND APPROACH THE SOUTHEASTERN COAST OF FLORIDA TONIGHT OR EARLY
SUNDAY.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 105 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SOME
STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS AND JEANNE WILL

A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND. SMALL

WOULD POSE A RENEWED THREAT OF FLOODING ON AREA RIVERS.
