GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS. ON
THE FORECAST TRACK...THE CENTER OF JEANNE IS EXPECTED TO PASS OVER
OR NEAR THE NORTHWESTERN BAHAMAS ON SATURDAY.

FLOODING WILL LIKELY OCCUR ALONG THE ST. JOHNS RIVER.

SUSTAINED WINDS WILL INCREASE TO THE 25 TO 35 MPH BY LATE SATURDAY
WITH GUSTS TO 40 TO 45 MPH POSSIBLE. THESE WINDS COULD INCREASE TO
TROPICAL STORM FORCE IN ALACHUA...MARION...AND BRADFORD COUNTIES AND
ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND NEAR HURRICANE FORCE IN CLAY AND PUTNAM
COUNTIES ON SUNDAY. DEPENDING ON THE TRACK OF JEANNE...THESE
CONDITIONS MAY WELL SPREAD NORTHWARD INTO THE REMAINDER OF NORTHEAST
FLORIDA AND PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY
MORNING. ALONG THE COAST...WINDS WILL INCREASE TO NEAR HURRICANE
FORCE IN THE WARNING AREA DURING SUNDAY NIGHT.

A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE WEEKEND. SMALL
CRAFT SHOULD STAY IN PORT. HIGH SURF WILL CONTINUE IN THE 6 TO 8 FOOT
RANGE TODAY AND GRADUALLY INCREASE THROUGH SUNDAY. HEAVY SURF AND
BEACH EROSION WILL CONTINUE TO WORSEN SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY.

HURRICANE JEANNE WILL POSE A THREAT OF HEAVY RAINFALL AS IT MOVES
NORTHWEST ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY. AREAS ALONG THE PATH COULD
SEE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 5 TO 10 INCHES. SUCH RAINS WOULD POSE A
RENEWED THREAT OF FLOODING ON AREA RIVERS.
