FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM JEANNE...LOCATED ABOUT 325 MILES EAST OF GREAT ABACO IN THE
BAHAMAS...ON HURRICANE KARL...LOCATED ABOUT 1055 MILES EAST OF THE
LESSER ANTILLES...AND ON TROPICAL DEPRESSION THIRTEEN...LOCATED
ABOUT 750 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS.
A LARGE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER LOCATED SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS IS ASSOCIATED WITH A
WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE. THIS SYSTEM HAS SOME POTENTIAL FOR
DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
TUESDAY.
