SOUTHEAST OF CAMERON...303 MILES SOUTHEAST OF INTRACOASTAL CITY...OR
253 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MORGAN CITY.
HURRICANE IVAN WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH AT 13 MPH...AND THIS
MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS. ON THIS
FORECAST TRACK...THE CENTER OF IVAN IS EXPECTED TO REACH THE COAST
DURING THE VERY EARLY MORNING HOURS ON THURSDAY.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS WERE 135 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
