AT 11 PM EDT...0300Z...THE CENTER OF HURRICANE IVAN WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 25.1 NORTH...LONGITUDE 87.2 WEST OR ABOUT 370 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF CEDAR KEY. IVAN IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NORTHWEST
NEAR 12 MPH AND A GRADUAL TURN TO THE NORTH IS EXPECTED ON WEDNESDAY.

WATER LEVELS OF 2 TO 4 FEET ABOVE NORMAL TIDES ARE EXPECTED ALONG
THE LEVY COUNTY COAST BEGINNING WEDNESDAY EVENING AND COULD INCREASE
TO 3 TO 5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL TIDES LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY.
MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING OF LOW LYING COASTAL AREAS MAY OCCUR...
ESPECIALLY DURING THE TIMES OF HIGH TIDE. HIGH TIDES WILL OCCUR AT
314 AM THURSDAY MORNING AND 339 PM THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

EAST TO NORTHEAST WINDS AROUND 10 MPH AND 20 TO 25 MPH WITH A FEW
HIGHER GUSTS WERE BEING OBSERVED OVER LEVY COUNTY AND ADJACENT GULF
WATERS LATE TONIGHT. THE STRONGEST WINDS FOR LEVY COUNTY ARE EXPECTED
TO OCCUR WITHIN THE BANDS OF HEAVY RAIN AS HURRICANE IVAN MOVES
NORTHWARD THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH WITH
GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE BEGINNING BY WEDNESDAY EVENING.
MINOR DAMAGE MAY OCCUR IN OLDER MOBILE HOME PARKS. NEWLY PLANTED
TREES AND SHRUBS MAY BE UPROOTED IF NOT SECURED PROPERLY. RESIDENTS

STREAMS...CREEKS...AND RIVERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR FLOODING AND
