FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON EXTREMELY
DANGEROUS HURRICANE IVAN...LOCATED ABOUT 175 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE
WESTERN TIP OF CUBA.
A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE IS LOCATED ABOUT 250 MILES EAST OF
THE LESSER ANTILLES. THIS SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY POORLY-ORGANIZED...
BUT THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH MONDAY.
