THIS STATEMENT IS SPECIFIC TO THE FLORIDA KEYS OF MONROE COUNTY.

NO WATCHES OR WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT FOR THE FLORIDA KEYS AT THIS
TIME.

...STORM INFORMATION...
AT 800 PM EDT...THE CENTER OF HURRICANE IVAN WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 18.2 NORTH...LONGITUDE 79.7 WEST...OR ABOUT 130 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF GRAND CAYMAN. THIS IS ABOUT 455 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST
OF KEY WEST. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 165 MPH...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS. THIS MAKES IVAN AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CATEGORY FIVE ON THE
SAFFIR-SIMPSON SCALE. SOME FLUCTUATIONS IN INTENSITY ARE LIKELY
DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. IVAN HAS WOBBLED WESTWARD OVER THE PAST
FEW HOURS...BUT IS EXPECTED TO RESUME A WEST-NORTHWEST MOTION NEAR 9
MPH DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. ON THIS TRACK...IVAN SHOULD BE MOVING
NEAR OR OVER THE CAYMAN ISLANDS ON SUNDAY. MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE
WAS ESTIMATED AT 912 MB...OR 26.93 INCHES OF MERCURY.

TRAFFIC AS OF NOON TODAY. GREYHOUND BUS LINES SERVICE OUT OF KEY
WEST HAS ENDED...AND WILL NOT RESUME UNTIL THE THREAT FROM IVAN IS
