FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON MAJOR
HURRICANE IVAN LOCATED ABOUT 235 MILES EAST OF BONAIRE. I

TROPICAL DEPRESSION FRANCES...CENTERED OVER NORTHERN GEORGIA ABOUT
50 MILES NORTH OF ATLANTA...IS MOVING NORTHWARD AT 10 MPH.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON FRANCES CAN BE FOUND IN PUBLIC ADVISORIES
ISSUED BY THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL PREDICTION CENTER UNDER AWIPS
HEADER TCPAT1 AND WMO HEADER WTNT31 KWNH.

A LARGE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER LOCATED ABOUT 450 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS IS MOVING WESTWARD AT
10 TO 15 MPH.  SOME SLOW DEVELOPMENT OF THIS WEATHER SYSTEM IS
POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

A LARGE TROPICAL WAVE...ACCOMPANIED BY A WEAK SURFACE LOW PRESSURE
AREA...IS CENTERED MIDWAY BETWEEN AFRICA AND THE LESSER ANTILLES.
WHILE THIS SYSTEM IS REMAINS POORLY ORGANIZED...IT HAS THE
POTENTIAL FOR SLOW DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT
MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

AN ELONGATED LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CENTERED ABOUT 580 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF THE AZORES ISLANDS IS MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEASTWARD. UPPER-LEVEL
WINDS ARE NOT FAVORABLE FOR SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT TO OCCUR.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
THURSDAY.
