AT 11 PM EDT...0300Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM FRANCES WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 28.3 NORTH...LONGITUDE 82.7 WEST...OR NEAR
HUDSON FLORIDA. FRANCES IS MOVING TO THE WEST NORTHWEST NEAR 8 MPH.
THE STORM IS EXPECTED TO TURN TO THE NORTHWEST LATER TONIGHT OR ON
MONDAY.
...CURRENT RADAR INFORMATION...
BANDS OF HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO AFFECT MOST OF THE WEST FLORIDA
COASTLINE. THE HEAVIEST BANDS WILL MOVE ONSHORE FROM THE GULF OF
MEXICO SOUTH OF THE CENTER. THESE BANDS ARE WRAPPING AROUND THE
STORM INTO THE INLAND COUTNIES. HEAVY RAINS FO AN INCH AN HOUR AND
GUSTY WINDS TO 50 MPH ACCOMPANY THE HEAVIEST BANDS.

THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE NEAR THE CENTER OF FRANCES
WITH OTHER STRONG WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH SPIRAL BANDS FEEDING INTO THE
STORM. GUSTS ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST COULD EXCEED 50 MPH.

WELL SOUTH OF THE STORM WINDS HAVE BECOME SOUTHWESTERLY THIS EVENING.
AS THE WIND BECOMES ONSHORE WATER LEVELS OF 2 TO 4 FEET ABOVE NORMAL
ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA. BEACH EROSION AND SPLASHOVER IS LIKELY.
MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING COASTAL AREAS IS ALSO POSSIBLE DURING
TIME OF HIGH TIDE OVERNIGHT.

ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN OF 2 TO 4 INCHES IS EXPECTED ACROSS MOST OF THE
AREA OVERNIGHT AND ON MONDAY. MODERATE TO MAJOR FLOODING ON RIVERS
WILL DEVELOP OVER MUCH OF WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA LATE TONIGHT AND
MONDAY. RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS...CREEKS...AND RIVERS ACROSS
THE REGION SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SIGNIFICANT FLOODING AND TAKE
ACTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS ARE OCCURRING AS THE SPIRAL BANDS
MOVE OVER THE COASTAL WATERS. WINDS AND SEAS WILL INCREASE OVERNIGHT
AS FRANCES MOVES INTO THE GULF. SMALL CRAFT SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT.

ISOLATED TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE WITHIN THE SPIRAL BANDS.
ANY TORNADOES THAT FORM WILL MOVE VERY QUICKLY AND BE SHORT LIVED.
