NWS/TPC NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
DANIELLE...LOCATED IN THE EASTERN TROPICAL ATLANTIC ABOUT 1330
MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE AZORES ISLANDS.
A TROPICAL WAVE...THE REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM EARL...IS LOCATED
SOUTH OF JAMAICA. THE WAVE IS GENERATING WINDS TO NEAR TROPICAL
STORM FORCE ALONG WITH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS IT MOVES
WESTWARD AT 25 TO 30 MPH. WHILE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY HAS
INCREASED...IT HAS NOT BECOME ANY BETTER ORGANIZED...SO THE AIR
FORCE RESERVE RECONNAISSANCE FLIGHT THIS MORNING HAS BEEN CANCELED.
HOWEVER...ANOTHER AIRCRAFT IS SCHEDULED TO INVESTIGATE THE REMNANTS
OF EARL THIS AFTERNOON...IF NECESSARY. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON
THIS WEATHER SYSTEM CAN BE FOUND IN HIGH SEAS FORECASTS ISSUED BY
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE...UNDER AWIPS HEADER NFDHSFAT1 AND WMO
HEADER FZNT01 KWBC.
ANOTHER TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 450 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE
VERDE ISLANDS IS MOVING WESTWARD AT 15 TO 20 MPH. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE POORLY ORGANIZED AT THIS TIME...BUT SOME SLOW
DEVELOPMENT IS STILL POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.
