ATLANTIC COAST...LOSING TROPICAL CHARACTERISTICS...
FLOOD WATCHES REMAIN IN EFFECT THROUGH PARTS OF EASTERN
GEORGIA...AS WELL AS MOST OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND NORTH CAROLINA...
EVEN THOUGH MOST OF THE PRECIPITATION ASSOCIATED WITH BONNIE HAS
ALREADY MOVED THROUGH. FLOOD WATCHES HAVE BEEN POSTED IN
SOUTHEASTERN VIRGINIA...THE DELMARVA PENNINSULA...EASTERN
PENNSYLVANIA AND NEW YORK...NEW JERSEY...AND MOST OF NEW ENGLAND
AS RAINFALL ASSOCIATED WITH BONNIE IS EXPECTED TO IMPACT THESE
LOCATIONS.
AT 11 AM EDT...15Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION BONNIE WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 36.5 NORTH LONGITUDE 76.1 WEST OR ABOUT 15
MILES SOUTHEAST OF CHESAPEAKE...NORTH CAROLINA. BONNIE HAS BEEN
MOVING NORTHEASTWARD AT ABOUT 40 MPH OVER THE PAST THREE HOURS
AND THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE. MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 23 MPH WITH SOME HIGHER GUSTS. MINIMUM
CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1009 MB OR 29.80 INCHES.
