...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, De Kalb, Smith and Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 548 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain.
    Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in
    the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lebanon, Carthage, Watertown, Gordonsville, Hickman, South
    Carthage, Alexandria, Dowelltown, Liberty and Tuckers
    Crossroads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
