...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN DICKSON...SOUTHERN
MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN STEWART...NORTHEASTERN HOUSTON AND
NORTHWESTERN CHEATHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM CDT...
At 1215 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Erin, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Erin, Clarksville, Tennessee Ridge, Cumberland City, Slayden,
Cheatham Dam, Palmyra, and Cunningham.
This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 10 and 17.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
