...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN WAYNE AND
SOUTHWESTERN PERRY COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM CDT...
At 222 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Olive Hill, or 10 miles northeast of Savannah, moving northeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Clifton and Flatwoods.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
