...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding of low-lying and poor draining areas,
  including low water crossings will occur due to excessive rainfall.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Clay, Cumberland, De Kalb, Fentress, Jackson, Macon,
  Overton, Pickett, Putnam and Smith.

* WHEN...Until 945 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 642 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cookeville, Livingston, Jamestown, Celina, Gainesboro,
    Byrdstown, Algood, Monterey, Baxter, Allardt, Rickman,
    Standing Stone State Park, Crawford, Dale Hollow Lake,
    Cummins Falls State Park, Grimsley, Clarkrange, Whitleyville,
    Moss and Pall Mall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
