The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern Dickson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Cheatham County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southwestern Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 514 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of
  White Bluff, or 12 miles west of Ashland City, moving east at 40
  mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Springfield, Ashland City, Coopertown, Joelton, Pleasant View,
  Charlotte, Cheatham Dam, Beaman Park, and Whites Creek.

This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 21 and 37.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.
