Central Montgomery County in Middle Tennessee...
Northwestern Cheatham County in Middle Tennessee...
Southwestern Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until 245 PM CDT.
* At 158 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southwest
of Clarksville, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Clarksville, Coopertown, Pleasant View, Palmyra, and Cunningham.
This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 4 and 23.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.
