...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN MARSHALL...SOUTHEASTERN
LAWRENCE...GILES AND SOUTHERN BEDFORD COUNTIES THROUGH 345 AM CDT...

At 322 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles north of Pulaski to Loretto. Movement
was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shelbyville, Pulaski, Loretto, Cornersville, St. Joseph, Minor Hill,
Belfast, Goodspring, and Frankewing.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 11 and 28.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
