...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Maury and Williamson.

* WHEN...Until 515 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 208 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen with additional rainfall moving into the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Franklin, Columbia, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Mount Pleasant,
    Thompson's Station, Leipers Fork, Santa Fe, I-65 East Of
    Columbia, Natchez Trace At Highway 96, Williamsport,
    Hampshire and Triune.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
