...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LEWIS...EAST
CENTRAL PERRY AND HICKMAN COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM CDT...

At 104 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Hohenwald, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hohenwald, Centerville, Kimmins, Nunnelly, and Pleasantville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
