...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN MARSHALL AND SOUTHWESTERN BEDFORD COUNTIES...

At 1134 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Petersburg, or
11 miles south of Lewisburg, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Petersburg, Cornersville, and Belfast.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 23 and 25.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
